Poltergeist in Santa Rita farm

The house of Santa Rita farm: haunted by supernatural forces. (Let's call the Winchester brothers...)

RIO DE JANEIRO state, BRAZIL. At the city of Sapucaia, in the district of Anta - rural zone, in a place known like Amarelo, a strange phenomenon is scaring the population. 

Knives that fly dangerously over who is approaching, chairs that change place, bricks that break alone, disturbances of metaphysical nature happen in Santa Rita farm, located nearby a cemetery. Residents have already fled the place after suffering injuries. They fear for further violent manifestations.

The persons believe that a poltergeist or spirits are causing the events and are related with the cemetery but the administrator of the farm, Sebastiao Abadias, claims that this cemetery exist there almost a hundred of years and never similar facts were registered.

Earlier this week (between days 17 and 23 of this month, February - 2013), a group of catholic monks decided to expel the 'spirits' from the house, but the attempt was foiled and all left the place hurriedly. The administrator of the property, tells that the phenomenons began with the happening of strange things when, nothing or no one was present on site. 

Abadias even says that his parents, who have older age, were taken to another house after his mother was injured by a knife that flew in direction to her.

In the opinion of the former Franciscan friar Paul Medina, currently professor of philosophy, the events in the house of the Santa Rita farm may be the result of the action of wandering spirits who need prayers. 

But for the Catholic church this explanation is controversial since that Catholicism, officially, rejects spiritualistic phenomena. For other side, manifestations of the kind poltergeist are accepted and investigated by the Church. However, despite the evidence, the local diocese doesn't showed interested in the phenomena

BRAZIL. SÃO PAULO, hinterland – At Poloni, a little town of São Paulo State, strange phenomenons are happening in a house. While Some say that is a ghost, a damned soul, others blame a poltergeist. 

The residents, a lady of 62 years, her daughter, 32 years and a grandson, a teenager of 14 years old, all of them say that the phenomenons began four months ago. 

Objects that disappear or are thrown against furniture and walls; electronics devices begin to function from nothing, without nobody action.

On Tuesday, December 7 (2010), the house caught fire. All rooms have been affected by flames. But a paint with the image of a saint, a rosary and a crucifix were saved.

Some experts are investigating the case. On one thing everyone agrees: the spiritualists, parapsychologists and also the police. All of them thinks that the incidents are related, in some way, with the adolescent.

Police works with the hypothesis of a joke, a play, but the young H.C.A. denies any involvement and says: I would never do anything that would harm my family. I am following the suffering of my mother and my grandmother. 

A woman, neighbor witnessed one of the paranormal occurrences. Other neighbors, sympathize with the family, are gathering in groups to pray and ask God's help.

For the spanish parapsychologist Óscar González-Quevedo, more known like priest Quevedo, the teenager H.C.A., 14, is responsible for the paranormal phenomena that happen in his family home in Poloni. 

Quevedo said the boy is possessed by a negative energy and, unconsciously has caused these phenomenons. As a priest I belive that these events have no relation with the devil. These phenomena are common in parapsychology, said Quevedo.

But Quevedo contradicts itself: it says that the adolescent is with a psychological disorder like depression, anxiety, irritability or even loss of attention by the family. 

However, the parapsychologist admits, too, that the teenager, though unwittingly, is using a playful spirit. Well, or the mind of the boy i, only, is producing the phenomenons or the whole thing has the participation of a disembodied entity. Meditate...

A doctor and spiritualist leader interviewed the boy and concluded: spirits are trying to avenge the family. The Centro Latino-Americano da Parapsicologia of São Paulo (Latin American Parapsychology Center) will investigate the phenomenons that would be occurring in the house. According to a spokesperson for the center, a professor specializing in paranormal phenomena should visit the house in the next days.

Girl paranormal puts fire em her own home

PIAUÍ ─ In august, 2009, The Meio Norte [Mid North] newspaper published a article about an paranormal girl that puts fire on things around herself. In the last seven months the life of the family changed entirely.

A couple of peasants, Mr. Francisco das Chagas, his wife Maria Ribeiro, also known like Maria Preta [something like Black Mary] and their daughter, who has 13 years, are being tormented by supernatural phenomena. Appliances, clothing, cereals and other objects, including the house, begin to burn out 'from nothing'.

The family has moved three times. They are very poor, then, this third home is a hut of straw and clay, what still worsening situation. Often, the neighbors have to help the family extinguish the fire.

The incidents began between february and march of this year [2009], when the first house was stoned for many times. This would hapened ever that the girl and her grandmother were alone, at home. One day, without apparent cause, the house caught fire.

Neighbors were able to rescue the girl and her grandmother of middle of the flames. That was the first of many fires. Experts, including these that work with health are considering that the cause of the phenomena can be a poltergeist.

The poltergeists are disturbed and disturbing spirits. They tend to use the energy of children and adolescents to move objects or to produce spontaneous combustion. Many are violent. The girl also tells to hear a voice she recognizes as being of his maternal grandfather. The spirit says that she should kill their parents using a knife. This grandfather was murdered 12 year ago.

For the girl, the situation becomes more difficult each day. At school, her book of notes caught fire. The incident caused panic among students. School classmates has avoided contact with her and the girl doesn't no more attends classes.

Paranormal Phenomena Scare Families in Belém

Mrs. Gonçalves: Ghosts messed up the house. Reprimand solves the problem.

PARÁ ─ Month of may, 2009. Belém town, Pará state capital. In Icoaraci neighborhood, Batista family lives in fear. All mattresses of all beds in the house burned at the same time. They were ten people. Lived at Juvencio Sarmento street, during three years they tried resist the nightmare.

Rita Batista tells: The strange things begin at night. We were returning from church when a fire apperead. The objects burned fast, suddenly extinguished but the fire reappeared elsewhere. We spent the night trying to extinguish the flames everywhere. At about six in the morning we put all the furniture in front of the house. A guard came and said everything was burning. We lost eight mattresses that day, and all the clothes.

The phenomena began to repeat. Were at least four months during which the fire appeared 'from nowhere'. The neighbor, Raimundo Nonato, witnessed the events: The fire burned up the bricks of the house. three priests of Marituba were called to resolve the case. It did not help. Unlike this, one of the priests felt sick and fainted. Tired of the ghost of fire, the family relocated, changed address.

However, the phenomenon has not ceased completely and occasionally, the spontaneous fire comes back. This may mean, in terms of diagnosis, that the phenomenon is not due to action of a common spirit. Probably, this is a poltergeist, an complex entity that does not bind to places; but connected to people.

Novena against rain of stones

At Para state, yet, other similar phenomena have been recorded, like at Mãe do Rio [River's Mother] district with Santos' family. In the house of Leda Maria de Souza Santos [67 years in 2009], stones flew from one side to another when her husband, Edvaldo or daughter, Emily, were around. The solution was religious. Leda invited some missionaries to visit the house and promoted novena [prayers] sessions at home. There were nine nights. Stones stopped bother and not returned.

Pensioner faced ghost

In the same district, Mãe do Rio, pensioner Alzira de Melo Gonçalves [76 years, 2009] lived a similar situation: One day we wake up with things all over the floor, including money: We believe that a thief had entered, but took nothing. That thief spreads all and not steal anything?

It was only the beginning. Stones seemed hit the walls and roof. Bottles fell off the table and voices were heard. One day, Mrs. Gonçalves was visiting a friend leaving her three children at home. Not long after, the three appeared breathless and frightened saying that visagens [ghosts] were doing a carnival in the house.

Determined, Mrs. Gonçalves returned home ready to have a serious talk with ghosts: from live to dead! She said: I'm talking with you. I don't know you but I want you stop it now. I do not deserve it. If is the devil, is good that you know: I'm not afraid because I'm with God. And if it is to kill me, can kill me, but let my children out of it. After that, she had no problems anymore.
